About Our Club

The Bledsoe County Amateur Radio Club is a group of licensed amateur radio operators and enthusiasts dedicated to the art and science of radio communication in and around Bledsoe County, Tennessee. We are a non-profit organization focused on education, public service, and the fellowship of our members.

Our activities range from weekly nets and monthly meetings to participating in national events like Field Day, operating special event stations, and providing communication support for local community events. We are an active club, proudly serving our community with reliable communications, especially during emergencies. Whether you're a seasoned DXer, a new technician, or just curious about the hobby, you'll find a welcoming community here.

Club Meetings & Nets

Monthly Meetings

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM CST.

Location: Pikeville City Hall Community Room, 25 Municipal Dr., Pikeville, TN 37367.

Meetings feature presentations, project updates, and a chance to socialize with fellow hams. All are welcome!

Weekly Net

Check in to our weekly net every Thursday evening at 8:00 PM CT (Spring/Summer) or 7:00 PM CT (Fall/Winter).

Frequency: 147.285 MHz (+.600 offset, PL 103.5 Hz)

The net is a great way to practice your operating skills, share news, and stay in touch with the local radio community.

Our club maintains and operates the following repeaters for the benefit of the amateur radio community in the Bledsoe County area.

VHF Repeater (AE4DD)

Frequency: 147.285 MHz

Offset: +.600 MHz

PL Tone: 103.5 Hz

Use: BCARC, Skywarn, EmComm

Notes: Also has EchoLink AE4DD-R

UHF Repeater (N4BCT)

Frequency: 442.875 MHz

Offset: +5.000 MHz

PL Tone: 114.8 Hz

Use: BCARC
